We are very pleased to recommend the Somerset Riverview, a "serviced apartments"
building which opened in October 2009 and is now owed and run by Ascott are exceptionally luxurious.
The building is strategically located within
the downtown central business district along South Renmin Road. It sits next to the main artery running through Chengdu and
next to the Linjiang River. The property is also a 15-minute walk to the landmark Tianfu Square which is home to major shopping
malls and a transportation hub.
The Somerset Riverview offers modern luxurious furnished apartments including a choice of studio, one bedroom and two
bedroom units; many of the apartments have a river view.
Each unit comes with a full kitchen (very convenient to heat up the food you made in the afternoon
class), free WI-FI Internet, TV, stereo system, DVD and access to a free DVD library. In addition the building provides laundry
facilities (free washer and dryers), and a lovely roof garden with picnic tables.
Breakfast is provided as part of your stay and hosted in the building's
clubhouse which also includes a media center, billiards room, fitness facility with steam room and sauna. The facility
is far superior to staying in a hotel, as it offers so many home-like amenities.
Rates, with breakfast, are approximately: $ 95 for a studio
to $125 for a one bedroom, per night.
